converting an auto to manual?

hi all
just wondered if you can help
me i have a 325i sport auto and wanted to convert it to manual and so wanted to know whats involved and what parts do i need other then prop,gearbox,pedal box?
also is it hard to route a hydraulic pipe for the clutch?
is the only thing i need to change on the engine the flywheel?
any help would be much appreciated

This has been covered several times, and an archive search will bring up all the answers you need.
The main thing that comes up every time is to buy a cheap manual donor car. Supplies lots of little bits than you wouldn't even normally think about.
Engine needs no mods (other than flywheel), except pushing a spigot bearing into the end of the crank.

does anyone have any pics of the flywheel of an auto.and this spigot bearing fitted as ive got my auto which was in bits and gotta work out how they all go together and mate to the auto box and the torque converter.
not changing to manual just yet gonna trial it with a 4.10 lsd

An auto engine has no flywheel. Make sure you fit the torque converter properly - the gearbox needs to be upright on its rear end and the converter locked in place in this position.
