My washer jets have stopped working....

when you pull the lever it doesn't make the normal buzzing sound it should...

checked to see if there were any blown fuses and there weren't!

Checked the wiring plug on the side of the reservoir and it seemed fine...

and yes the reservoir is full of fluid!!!!

any ideas??? :?

Does the motor work when you pull the lever???

If yes then check the T shaped one way valve on the bonnet for blockage

No, it doesn't make any noise now!

Where is the valve? is it hidden under the inside skin of the bonnet?

The valve sits between the two jets under the bonnet. It's a cylinderical white affair with 3 pipes coming off it. When the jets get blocket, it had valves that piss the liquid out all over the place, under the bonnet for you, rather than stress the motor.

I replaced mine with a regular T bar from Halfrauds.

Smell the motor, if it smells like a knackered Scalextric car, then it's burned out.

You have a multimeter?

I'd say the motor is probably knackered then, as it doesn't make any noise, and it's not losing any fluid either(washer fluid that is)...topped it up a week ago, and it's still the same.

:(

Forget the multimeter, you need a high-tech tester - 2 bits of wire and a bulb. Connect it up to the plug and see if it lights up when you pull the lever.
My tester is the ultra delux model - two small croc clips, two lengths of wire and an old motorbike indicator screwed to a block of wood 8)
