I want to install these to my S50 before i test fit the engine, question is can anyone recomend a place in the UK that sells them?
All google seems to bring up is yank sites and ive been stung with VAT and import duty on new stuff ive bought from the states before and it can be a shock! I'd like to buy within the UK or maybe Europe if anyone can point me in the right direction
Cheers, Tom.

When i bought my parts for my turbo conversion i asked Steve of top end in the US and he said the eom bmw bolts were as good as arp rod bolts and the oem one's would do the job.

doesnt sound like he knows much then as its widely known these bolts fail on this engine if pushed too hard for too long.
As i wanna take mine to the ring next year im taking no chances.....

Ive done about three recalls on E46's and about the same for the E36 S50 and i can assure you that you will be shocked by how much the OEM bolts stretch so get those ARP bolts in there!

I think FAB sell titanium rod bolts for the S50 though I have no idea if they will actually perform any better. I am going to go for the ARP steel ones myself as it's only a precautionary measure. I seriously doubt I'll be ragging my S50 that much, even on the odd track day I might get round to.
