Just to check its the bulb behind the front wheel on the wing!

Ok so the problem is the drivers side doesnt work. All the other indicator lights work just this bulb doesnt! I have replaced the bulb aswell. Does anyone have a clue what could be faulty?

cheers

If you have replaced the bulb you might have a dodgy contact, this has happened with me before
I would take out the bulb and check that the contacts on the bulb are touching the right place in the bulb holder.
.......im no expert (at all) just my 2 penneth

edit:
maybe check the wiring on the holder too

Does the side repeater not working mean an MOT fail?

If the tester notices it is indeed a fail.

If you have a multimeter I'd check to see if you're getting voltage in the bulb socket, if not, just follow the cables back until you find any damage. I have an E30 M3 that I imported from Germany earlier this year and had to have the repeaters fitted here. I had the guys doing the MOT fit them and they haven't done the best job. I've had to remake the splice into the RHS wiring to sort my issues. I expect I'll have to do the LHS before long.

While you're at it with the multimeter check your new bulbs for continuity.

if the MOT tester doesnt notice it, he shouldnt be testing cars!

The dash light should be flashing like a strobe if the repeaters not working

If the bulb is ok check the contacts are touching the bulb, they shouldnt corrode, check the wire is in the back of the repeater correctly.

try using your hazards to see if its the indicator stalk which is f00ked

thats all I've got
