All BMW's since the beginning of time have had chrome kidney's.

Now of course it is well known and understood that chrome around the windows is completely wrong and should not be tolerated but the kidneys look good in chrome. Otherwise you may as well remove them, and then its just a Golf :puke:

Chrome = mean e30 look

Black = softer, modern look

Depends what you like

You've got me.. I've run out of things to spray so I just re-do all the things I've done already to feed my addiction... it all started when the wife came home to find me masking off the boy and getting ready to paint him....

I used to take your comments seriously and deem them worthy of some banter in return. Now you drive a 4x4 I just laugh at your desperate need to hang on to some form of self dignity and e30-ness by clinging, white knuckled, to the fast fading notion of chrome being cool.

What colour is your tank?

If its post face-lift with no other chrome or an M3 then black it, as it will look the nuts, but if it is pre-facelift with the rest of the bits chrome then leave it because then it doesnt look out of place!

What about doing it the same colour as your car, surely someone must have done it and have pics?
Might work with certain colours....or maybe not..... :D

P.s. munky, i notice from your sig that your car has the same prob with its side repeaters that mine had, i.e. them being on the wrong sides :wink:
