I need some help in removing the single piece Mtech door kit. I managed to remove all the retaining clips at the bottom of the door, but there's something holding the kit further up. Any ideas how to remove this without damaging the kit.
There's also a small black pin visable when you open the door, which aligns near the kit. Has this anything to do with the body kit??
Thanks

It's been while for me but iirc
the black pin is a 9mm plastic nut! so a socket will remove this. The rest of it will pop off. Being a nice car like yours i'd be using a cloth rag and a flat filler knife type thing to carefully pop it off. Although it should come off with your hands with the 9 mm nut off

Thanks Simon. Sorted.
Quite surprised too, not a blip of rust anywhere underneath the kit
New grommets on the way as one is missing. I sprayed loads of wax before putting the kit back on.
Gave the door kit a good clean too 20 years of filth and grime.
Thanks again mate
