Hmm im getting really really bad fuel surge when cornering, also though more annoyingly im getting it when driving normaly, i was just doing 40mph in 4th with just under half a tank left and it was lurching and farting about? is this a common problem with e30's? if so what can i do to fix it

E30's don't suffer from fuel surge normally.
First thing I'd check is for splits in the big air hose between the air meter and the throttle body. Really need to remove it to check properly.
