Hey all, I have just been onto Proven Products about a lowering kit and they said that because it was already an SE that it had slightly uprated suspension, I thought it just meant electrics, can any shed any light on what excatly the difference is between a 320 and a 320SE?
Cars an 89 F.

Every E30 has different options from the factory so its hard to generalise. But i dont think the 320SE came with up rated suspension.

My standard 320 and my SE have identical suspenion, in fact I robbed the rear shocks of the 320 as the SE's were useless.
They were probably thinking of the 325i sport.

The 320i SE had gas pressure shocks from the factory as opposed to standard oil shocks.
The springs are standard and the struts are the smaller 47mm ? units.
Cheers,
