Whats the best red colour???

When you search Imola red bmw, that e39 comes up. The thing is the photographs will change the colour of the car, (esp if digital) depending in filters, settings. lighting etc.

Go to a dealers, it's not a bright pillar box red, it's more a darkish red... Very difficult to describe.

I put up 3 pics to try and illustrate the colour, though it varies so much.

None of those pictures really look like it in the metal.

zinnobar is my favourite of the normal reds

It's very similar to Audi Amulet Red, which is another great colour.

hey guys, soz been out of action on here for a few days - has any1 got pics of both colours on the e30 so we can see a difference between the 2 colours?

cheer for the help guys, looks like we have settled for imola red. unfortunatly, this isnt going to be done for the ace cafe meet or the nw meet

Calypso is a stunning colour, Really suits the E30 shape imo.

Kandy colours are great for show cars and pampered cars, it is a little soft for an everyday car as it scratches really easy so I have heard.

I thought that was more to do with the laquer / top coat
