How does a lsd work.when both wheels are of the ground out of gear handbrake off, when you spin one back wheel should the other back wheel turn or stay put.
I have been told on the car that i am buying the diff is not the best very noicey atlas pin i have been told could be wrong. So if my car does not have a lsd and i need a new diff i might as well get a lsd right.
What is the ratio for a 325i convertible motorsport and how much.
There is somebody selling a m3 lsd for Ԛ£200 would that solve my problem when it come time to repair.

Cheers

With LSD the opposing wheel should turn the same way as the one you're turning, without LSD it will turn in the opposite direction.

M3 diff will be too tall/long geared/lower numbered.

You need 3.6 or 3.9 diff.

I have a 3.64 open diff for sale if you can't find an LSD in time. I'm in Sheffield but am sometimes over in Manchester, call it thirty five quid? Let me know if you're interested.

Try and get yourself a 3.64 LSD, it's a better ratio than the 3.91 for motoway cruising, first gear is more reasonable.....and fuel consumption? Not talking from first hand experience yet, but this is what I gather from previous posts.
