Fitted my diy smoked bosch this morning
Moderator: martauto
Big thanks to MrLee for the guide and to Eko for the inserts.
The job wasn't too hard, but I did manage to crack one of the lenses when heating/prying it off.
I think the result is pretty good, matches the colour of the car quite well.
Still not sure yet on the indicators though, maybe too dark?

you are welcome and they look great.... clear lenses look much better IMO as i did what you did and smoked the inside of the indicator.... have a look at the two one with your effect and one with clear...i think the clears look fresher

He machine cut loads of them only to find out that the template was `slightly` wrong

In the end he just gave them to me for doing some work on his car!

there not to hard once you open them up and if you do crack the lense just pop down the dead car yards and pick up a new set and start again. i cracked too lenses to do mine...but worth it in the end even installed angel eys and hid conversion and got the mot the other day passed with flying colours

Looking very nice matey,i'd leave the indicators as they are tho,i like em

How much you want for a set fella and what kind of mods do they need?eko wrote: (still got a bag load of precut X`s if anyone want any, slight modification need though)

A pic speaks a thousand words

Easy enough to modify them.2 minutes with an angle grinder or 10 minutes with a file will have them fitting nicely
Still got plenty of these so call it £4 posted for 4(enough for one set).

Didn't I pay for to sets?
And its ok one set goes on the shelves until I see a wanted ad, or until I buy another e30, which as e know isn't tooo far away. by which time I've had practise at fitting them allready.
