Think i will get me a new A ripped for asking this but i will anyway :o:
With car tax not 100% sure what is based on but if X car has a considerably lower C02 during its MOT and is on MOT cert than whats qouted on V11 is there a way of getting into a lower tax band/group to pay less tax?

Example if car X on V11 states X car has 200 g/km and but X car actually puts out 100g/km as detailed on Mot should i still pay XXX amount as other cars of similar group?

In theory you caould re-submit via the SVA procedure to have the taxation class changed, whether in practice this is possible( depends whether the govt will allow a legal tax dodge... ) , conatact your local VOSA office and see what they say ( useless twats usually )

If you fill out enough forms, I think you can get something like a £5 reduction on a LPG converted vehicle!
