auto eng into man car

what bits exactly do i need to swap fr the man engine to the auto when fitting into a manual car??

also is there anything that must be new? any bearings on gbox shaft etc?

long time since ive split or swaped an engine minds gone blank

There is something on the auto engine that needs to be changed, its the bit that the gbox shaft gose into. But i can not remember the bloody name of it. Nelly knows.

swop the flywheel over from the manual, use the flex plate from the auto as a dangerous frisbee??

you'll need to put a manual spigot bearing in the crankshaft , and then spanner it all up Daz

I'd add a sump gasket and replace the rear mainseal whist its off too

IIRC, there was a change in the diameter of the spigot on the gearbox input shaft at some time, and consequentially, a change in the spigot bearing as well.
