There are two screws at the base of each seat that attach the back frame to the base frame. Sometimes these come loose, so the back of the seat rocks slightly. You can easily check for this by removing the seat backs and you will see the two screws at the bottom. Removing the drivers seat back is easy, remove the lift handle and bracket(carefully) and then remove the two small screws at the bottom of the back panel. The passenger seat has two lift handles, you can unscrew the inner one before removing the back panel.

Checked my passanger seat at the weekend, one screw was really loose and the other had gone walkies, nicked one of my cloth seats and there's no rocking

both these screws are tight on mine and they still rock.....grrrrrrrrrrr

i do however know that it is rocking at the runners, where they attach to the seat and where the runner mech actually is.

You will always get a slight amount of rocking due to wear over time in the seat tilt mechanism and the in the runners, but the problem due to loose seat back screws is alot more noticeable.
