Strange noise from steering??

Help, when i turn my steering wheel i get a strange sort of creaking sound? Really obvious at low speed or when pulling off.

Any ideas?

check the power steering belt

if the belt is tight, it's likely to be the pas pump. they tend to sound like a chainsaw when they go!

Ok, thanks. Will check these and see if they are the problem. Hopefully not to expensive to fix.
