guys i warn you . . . . dont laugh i am extremly pissd off.

ive recently purchased a 80mm kit for my e30 and i went to get it fitted yesterday, , , ,back has new shocks and spring, and the front has new shocks and springs, also i chukd in fresh bump stops.

i dint chop them, use smaller bump stops. they are the huge standard ones from german and swedish.

my car was on a 40mm drop where the back arch sitting just above the tyre.

i hav no idea whats hapend to the back of my car but guys, what drop would you say the front is now?

+40/+40 perhaps 8O .its certainly not a -80 kit thats for sure.
id be more concerned about driving about with 3 spoke alloys though.i suppose that does give it a genuine 80's car feel.

Fella. If they are 80mm drop then it will. Mine looked like a 4x4 aswell when I fitted mine. Now it's on the floor...

But I still want to go lower.

zaust i know what your sayin. . . .but i dont think it will go down 80-100mm at all!!!

i remember wen i 1st got my 40mm kit on there and it went down straight away. . . .this kit has gon rite up.

if it was gona settle in i wud of thort it wud be sittin at bout 50-60mm 1st.

anyways ive got in contact with the guy, ive given him the part number on the springs and hes goin to contact his supplier and see what theyv sent me. and hopefully dey will send me a new set. myt do 60mm all round coz my sump sits crazy low. . . already scraped the bottom off it on a 40mm, was goin to fast over a bump!

but ye i showed him the picture and he totally agreed with me bout it not bein a 80mm kit!!!

hope it all gets sorted coz i cn fooookin see evry1 at the top a bus wiv no prblems!!!!

Well the only place that advertises 80mm kit is Jamex (ok i know im gona get slated now!). I had no other option...
Its settled in for 2 days, but even when it settles i dont see it dropping to the expected 80mm.
I had a look on the Jamex official site and they dont list an 80mm drop kit for the E30. Sounds like false advertising tbh... Is there anyone on the zone that has an 80mm kit? p.s what kit have you got on yours Snoops? Looks awesome buddy! Thats what i want

Ive never seen a 80mm drop either only 60 and ive been in Germany for a while and looked at all the German tuning mags like DW and never seen them before plus if you put the same size srings on the front as the rear it looks odd because of the rear arch best bet is 60/40 if you want to go that way
