The most important thing to ask yourself is: why do absolutely no manufacturers use these things?

Trouble is there are a lot of gullible none mechanically minded people out there who fall for the garb they quote when selling their add ons.. After all, they all sound good in theory!
The most technical argument I've come across!ebay scammer wrote:Because the fins do not intersect in the middle of the hose, air is allowed to flow freely into the engine.

I have 4 cans of beans that i bought to use with my Rieger, but got a twin turbo conversion instead so wont be needing them. The concept is easy. You eat them, it give you lots of wind and that increases the bhp of your car to 300bhp. I only want £500 for the 4 cans which is a steal to double your power
When it comes to bhp gains, there are no short cuts. Noz is about the only cheap mod proven to work and not fry your engine if not abused. Apart from that you will need to spend money. No good being a Champaign drinker with lemonade pockets if you want big power.
As for people getting worked up, it looks to me reading that people were only trying to help.

Dude, you too have been drawn into this wall of deceit designed to get everyone to spit some (humorous) rage about these things, which is always very amsuing. It's cool tho, you're only human.tonybtonyb wrote:Hi guys i think he's got the message now but hey everybody makes mistakes every now and again. After all he's only human.Tony
As has this guy. It's not for me to laugh at you, it's for us all to laugh at the crummy product - a pointed wasted on you I'm afraid as you seem to see the negative in this rather than just snigger.fuzzy wrote:its just some of us like to laugh at others to give ourselves a smug feeling of superiority.
C'mon man...
