M20 B20 Turbo..?

Been pondering for a few days as to what I might do in the engine dept for my 320i since it's lacking a bit of grunt and since i've tightened up the handling and brakes.

Was thinking something along this specification:
> Swap head for a recon 320i head (Valve Regind, new oil seals and stem seals)
> T28 Turbo from a S14 Nissan
> Saab / Volvo/ Evo 8 intercooler (whatever's on ebay)
> Skyline 444cc injectors
> ARP Rod bolts (if avaliable)
> Home made manifold
> Mega Squirt ECU

Just wondering what people reckon as well as possible power outputs, did read somewhere anything up to 240bhp was possible (Ant? Not sure)

will skyline injectors fit directly?

Go for Ford motorsport 440cc (42lb) injectors, green in colour, same fitment as stock. They give roughly enough fuel @ stock pressure for around 80bhp per cylinder.

M20B20 turbo could poss produce much more than 240bhp, be interesting to see!

You can always use a ealry skyline turbo as they were 2ltr's too.

If you're aiming for just 240bhp, there's little point in using such massive injectors. It just makes it a pain in the arse to get the load load and idle fueling right.

If you MUST use those injectors then you just have to deal with it, but the resolution for most driving situations will be terrible.

I was only thinking about the 444cc skyline injectors since the Skyline boys are always upgrading for space shuttle bhp numbers

Cosworth greens i guess are readily avaliable since the Ford boys are upgrading to Grey injectors?

And i didn't realize i could have moooooooooore power But I'm fairly sure 240bhp was good for a reliable day to day usable engine though i could be wrong.

Hi mate, i was goin through the older post and say your thread on turboing your M20 2.0l and was wondering if you ever tryed it? I've got an old E28 520i with a turbo lyin in the shed and always planned to try it.
