Whats this car worth pls guys????

Long time no speak again lads....well at the moment im driving a late E34 525i SPORT...but i am after another E30. Been offered the following car in a swap for mine:

1989 325i SE Sport look alike.
170K miles, 6 former keepers, Service History upto 120K then part service.
Has the LSD and gearbox from a Sport
Full Black leather Recaros inc RHR

I think it needs a new set of wheels and lowering. Apart from that I think it looks mint. Has no rust and had a full respray quite recently. Whats it worth do you think?

Nice car, exactly the same as mine except mine is scruffy.
Mine's done 170,00 and dealer service up till 2000.
You'll really notice the difference mine feels better than my bros 120,000 E30 cab. As for price Ԛ£2000-Ԛ£2500 but I dunno at the mo, had mine for a while so I'm not up on current prices.

No mate...ive got an L reg 525i SPORT in Daytona Violet.....been told mines worth around Ԛ£1800-Ԛ£2000....I was thinkin this E30 was worth the same?

A straight swap from yours to this sounds a fair deal to me, personaly i'd change the wheels for BBS's or Alpina's (your personal taste really) and lower it down a tad.

Unless you told people it wasn't a sport then we'd be none the wiser, an excellent example of a 'look-alike' if you ask me, just be sure to check them jacking points for rust and any tell/tell signs behind the M/tec 2 kit.

My 5 has 177K miles on the clock, 2 former keepers and a FBMWSH. Has all the usual 5 mod cons including an immaculate Half Leather Recaro interior.

I payed Ԛ£1900 in February this year and spent Ԛ£500 on the cylinder head gasket.

Unfortunately, they dont seem to go for much now and I am sellin at a loss. E30's (well nice ones) tend to go for better money hence why I am thinking of a straight swap!

if the car is clean and not a bad of crap i would be tempted. price wise you prob right in thinking there about even.
