Looks OK, splits the difference between HX Holsets and T3/4 hybrids, big A/R on the hotside is good.

only thing, you'll need an external wastegate for that turbo, and in a RHD car with the manifold you've ordered its a very very tight squeeze, certainly the oil filter take off needs replacing with a remote head setup from Mocal or similar.

It can be done( I've done it  ) but you will have to compromise on downpipe size and routing to achieve the goals.

Cheap enough but its "unbranded" and XS Power dont have the best reputation, if it shits the turbine it will destroy your engine.

Just so you are aware of the risks Hass :thumb:

if you want too see what I'm on about, take a drive to the workshop, addy as per my location dude :D

Not recomend at all. It is not Garrett turbo but some super cheap chinese stuff. Also if you don't want to get well over 500 bhp it is faaaar to big.

i dont know about the turbo but i do know a couple of people that have bought xspower products (rads + coolers) and they were both poorly made and didnt fit the application it was intended for.

Similar to my turbo hass. XS power are just *extremely* cheap, and you get what you pay for :D

i don't really trust mine as far as i could throw it, but it's done a fine job of getting me up and running for £150. plan always was to replace with holset or similar, just not got round to it yet

also as has been said, I would guess that's a bit big for a 2.5 8O

Car's been together a year mate. still 7psi though, I guess given more of a work out it might have stood up less well.

there must be fairly sound reasons why these cost a small fraction of what pukka Garrett units do, and i can only think it's poor materials/workmanship

Hass, not sure about that one mate, someone else might be able to help out though :D
