leather E-brake boot?

I would really like to put a leather e-brake boot in my car since everything else is in leather (steering,knob,shift boot..) New ones are pretty expensive, at my local junkyard can't find any for E30 but for E34 they have several. Is it possible to put that one in E30? I didn't mean plug n play but with some light mods

Anyone done that?
Also, I would like to see some photos of your interiors with leather boots, If not a problem.

I got mine from ebay, there's loads to be found there. Can't remember what I paid for it but it wasn't expensive.

im not sure what you mean by e-brake boot? hand brake boot to replace the original plastic item? i bought real leather items from ebay for about Ã‚£30ish for the handbrake and the gearshift gaitors but havent got around to fitting them yet.

Shame as ive got a spare E30 one here but someone has already claimed it

Not sure if the E34 one could be made to fit but its certainly different around the base part,dont see why not though?

I was thinking of taking one from E34 and then cut my original one to fit in the bottom and then cut e34 ones leather and put it on original boot holder. I can fit leather with cloth machine, I guess

I know for a fact that an e32 one wont work and I think that the e34 is the same. Reason being theres not enough leather to the rear of the handbrake due to the e34 and e32 kicking up slightly.

I've got a genuine blue boot on mine that came from a late lux, It's vinyl though but still looks a damn sight better than the corrugated rubber johnny bmw fitted originally.

Stick a wanted ad in the wanted section. Someones bound to have something lying about.
