I've been using Amorall foam cleaner and shine on tyres for a while now, but now I have a beemer again I am looking for something that gives them a better shine
I am happy with the way Amorall cleans the tyres but want a really really high gloss wet look to my tyres.
Anyone got recommendations and prices if possible?
Nice one.
(I did do a search but couldn't find a previous thread as I am sure its probably come up a thousand times) :o:

Yup Endurance gloss is probably the best budget one. Make sure you wipe off the excess of you end up with splats all up the arch lip :(

Also kiwi shoe polish is better than the tyre gel for moulding trims :P as it doesnt drip down the lower part of the panels

why would you use tyre gel on the moulding trims? companys make trim detailer for a reason,

dave i agree its a very good budget product but like you say there is definatly better out there, but its also more expensive and does the same job.

Does this stay greasy when applied?

Come on Ian, You love them. Along with a nice shiny dash :snigger:

I still say Zaino Z16 (As recommended by c76jon) is the best finish, Nice and clean without the greasy wet look.

Z16 is something I've not tried yet. I've always had good results from Autoglym tyre dressing. I wipe it on and leave for a minute or two, and then wipe off any excess. It leaves a nice matt/satin finish that looks like a fresh clean new tyre. None of this high gloss nonsense

Nick at Pro-Detailing has some really good stuff from Concept Chemicals, but he's really struggling to get them to supply him (at least he was). I don't recall what it was called, but it was a simple wipe on and leave product, and left a lovely finish.

Slightly off topic, but I tried some Z-AIO the other day, and the results were excellent. I didn't have enough time to do a full detail, but a quick wash, clay, Z-AIO followed by some Z8 has left a lovely finish. If I get a chance in a few days, I'll get a few layers of Z2-Pro on it as well. It really needs a good going over with the PC, but decorating, being made redundant and starting your own business takes up most of my time at the moment

Ian.

Do you want a sample of Z16 to try? I have some small flip top bottles which are approx 100ml, Quite happily post some to you.

Was just looking at the pro-detailing site, It's just too tempting :(

z-aio is a quality product and does give good results

i use it for door shuts etc aswell as there is no point in wasting z5pro or z2pro there imho

i still use z1 for base coat if i have PCd prior as it works so well for me and theoretically i dont need any more abrasive products on panel as ive done all the correction with Menzerna

ive heard good things about the concept chemicals tyre dressing but havent tried it as as you say Nick is struggling to get it thru

z16 gives exactly that a nice new tyre look without any grease shite

it may appear pricey but my last bottle lasted 5 years ,you use so little
