The MONSPORT Memorial Meet - July 15th, Portsmouth
Moderator: martauto
what a fantastic day but a shame it was for such a sad occasion, some very touching moments involved. thank you to all the people involved in organising the day, it was very much appreciated by all i think, betweeen us we have done the zone proud and makes me feel proud to be part of it i'm sure malcolm was up there smiling down on us. nice to meet some new faces and i hope to see you all again soon
No not been to Brands this year, was the likeness that close? I only know of one other E3 in Fjord blue and it is a 2500 not a 3.0si. Rummoured to be only 40ish E3's left in the uk nowtylerma wrote:jam172
was you at brands hatch on the 26th of june in your car?
There is one much rarer than mine on Ebay as we type, it's an E3 3.3li, long wheelbase limo version, all were auto, leather, aircon

Really good to see the level of support you all gave, you should be proud.
Oh yes, what do you mean Iain, "dodgy"
I didn't get the nick name "Jammy Dodger" for nothing mate
Your E3 (3.0 Si) is the absolute epitomy of CLEAN.
I was the one drooling over your brake servos! What a beautiful car, with a factory toolkit that would put an E30 to shame. Hopefully when I grow up I'll get one just like it.
Was so nice to meet so many Zoners and enthusiasts today. Hardly got time to meet everyone. Big up to Simon13, Jon_BMW, Dan318is, tylerma, HartgeH27, Ziggy and partner and Dodgem for keeping me and my son (and Zimmer) entertained - as well as the countless others that were there - far too many to mention and didn't get to chat to.
Also, to the fellow mods that I didn't get a chance to speak to
Was very humbling to meet Malcolm's widow, Sheila. Well done to Iain (HartgeH27), E30Mark and Gordon (sorry if I am missing anyone out) for arranging it all the way you did. It was very touching.
Big E30Zone hug to you all.
Dameon.

Was anyone else checking out the looks on the faces of the drivers going in the opposite direction as e30 after e30 after e30 passed them on the way to the castle? Admittedly it looked like some hadn't even registered the fact, but others had a look of total disbelief
Cheers to Jon_bmw, Dan318is and Simon13 for the banter at the pub afterwards, and also to Old_skool_2002 & son, ZimmerBimmer1, and others that were nearby chatting at the castle
And again, well done to E30Mark, Hartgeh27, Gortour, Gazsman, and anyone else for the arrangements.
When we said goodbye to Sheila, she was obviously so happy at the effort made by everyone. Really makes me proud to be a member of this forum (much more than a forum as Iain said!) Good show everyone
And Aretha, bring your Baur up to Trowbridge one day - the place needs a bit of class

well done fellas, looks like you did the guy and his family proud
On a truely sombre day I think a great time was had by all. Good organisation made this a roaring success. Great to be involved despite having to bring my onion bargie(audi barge). A fitting sendoff from e30zone was more than achieved.
I have got barely any photos from the day due to being too busy chatting to loads of people. But it seems I needn't have worried due to the awesome pictures already posted.
Great to meet some new heros, Old skool-dameon, zimmerbimmer-paul, dodgem-si amongst a whole host of others I have forgotten their names. Also great to catch up with all the resident heros- Dan, Si14, Jon, Mark, Gordon Dave, Malcom etc etc.
A proper day out despite its sombre nature. Massive thanks to the organisers, you know who you are
