no, was trying to get through a gap which obviously was not big enough.

Passed MOT today no probs, so some consolation for my stupidity!
I might lie and say it's a nurburgring wound! Rubbing compound and a good polish should get most of it out until i get my arches sorted.

No rust fell out tho!

Least you passed the MOT!

I did the opposite to that last week, I put a scratch down the side of a green merc! Was on my bike in central london, and clipped me with its wing mirror while overtaking, so i kind lean't into it half on purpose, half cause i was off balance and left a nice 50cm scatch on rear wing. Driver didn't even notice, was to busy on his mobile!

Funny if it was the same car...was a older shape C-class P reg?!!?!!!

If you mean fault it'd probably be Simon's as the other driver was stopped at the time :(

Was the Merc damaged at all though?

no just a scrape i think, might need a new bumper clip to pull it back in place. Still waiting to hear, if he goes through insurance i'm going to hunt him down and beat him with a large stick

If he goes through insurance aren't you able anyway to say that you'd rather pay for the damage yourself rather than make a claim?

It pains me to see self inflicted damage on such a thing of beauty

I had a bit of a prang in january this year didnt do much damage to the car but clamed for alot more, i only dinted my wing, and bumper but i managed to get a new bonnet, bumper, trim bit of the bottom, fog light cover and offside headlight bargin :D

Amazing what you can get when you lie through ya teeth

Give it a try bud you may get your arches done for free :) :)

Thing is, it's not funny as it's true 8O

Good luck whatever happens though, I guess the way he reacted at the time will give you the biggest clue about whether he's gonna be a w*anker about it or not
