Hi

a local chap is selling his E30 323i C plater
Apparantly he has had a nut and bolt restoration job carried out on it a couple of years ago
Car looks pretty good but the bonnet is a slightly different shade to the rest of the car (apparantly he has to paint it again cause something in his garage fell on it)
Car has 87000 miles with history to back up
He wants £1250 for it
What do you think?

I quite fancy it but i really fancy a tourer

Welcome to the Zone! It's quite a rare model now, so probably is worth it so long as it's not rusty.

IF its had a nut and bolt restoration then its definitely worth the money as it should be far more reliable than your average e30 check that the restoration was done by someone who knew what they were doing and if it is what you want in terms of colour number of doors etc then buy it.

Don't know the car fella, but she looks sweet enough IMO. I'd be more that willing to come and check her out with you if you want, as I've had a good few E30's now. I'd love the 323i myself but cannot justify having 2 cars, and the touring stays !! Your more than welcome to give me a buzz on 07759 177103 if you wish.

Cheers

George

Its really a touring that Im after
Im not so keen on the styling of the saloon car
I will keep an eye on her though, I cant see many folk in Caithness paying over £1K for a C plater, no matter how clean she is!!

That car will never sell in Caithness unfortunately, unless the buyer is looking for that spicific type of motor. I see hardly any E30's up here, and I could count all the E30 enthusiasts in Caithness on one hand. There was a lad selling a cheap 325i touring on the org, but it's been withdrawn now IIRC. Scotads maybe ?

I must have a look
The touring is deffo the way to go
Your car looks ace btw, I have seen it around was half hoping it was owned by some old bloke who would punt it on for cheap

It was withdrawn a good few months ago. Shame as it was only £300. Thanks re my touring, she is my baby and I'm dead proud of it. She needs a few bits and pieces but hey, she's old !! It's my 7th E30 ( 14th BMW ). Defo not going to punt it but your right, I am an old grey bloke
Will look to sell it ( maybe replace with 5 series touring ) when baby no.2 comes along in the future, but that's years down the line :)

well bugger me blind, would you believe it, the 323i sold almost immediately.
I never thought that car would make that cash in Thurso....
Back on the hunt for a touring I suppose!

Chrome bumper E30s are getting scarce... and every 323i I've seen has had terminal rust.

In fact I think I've seen more decent E21s than early E30s...

Fookin hell, your jokin !! Cannot believe that car has sold. I had just about convinced the missus that we need another E30 and was due to view it tomorrow morning. Fookity arse, bugger etc etc. Any idea who bought her Henspeed ? Hope he / she is going to look after it...
