I need waxing!

My car needs a coat od wax I think, paint is rough on touch, and my microfiber towel doesn't slip from the paint.
I need advice on wax, which one to buy? Here in my country I can find only turtlewax,sonax and Nigrin.
Also I am curious how to apply wax correctly? I am total newbie in this.

If the paint is rough to the touch it will need more than wax.

I'd start by claying if you can find it, Then polishing with a good quality polish and then seal with a wax.

Sonus products are good for the money.

car is repainted few months ago but washed once a week, water is very hard here, so paintwork is a little rough on touch and water doesn't come off easily. I don't think he needs polish.
Any more tips?

Clay !

You need to use clay to get a smooth finish prior to polishing.

1. Clay

2. Cleaner polish

3. Crystal polish

4. Caranuba wax

= Lovely finish !

you will want to clay bar the paint and polsih it first, otherwise you are completely wasting the wax,

try also some meguairs last touch, once you have dryed the car to remove any little water marks.

the water will sheet of the car and be easier to dry once it has been clayed, polished and waxed.

what method do you recomend? Hand polish or machine?

machine polishing if you have a machine polish either a rotarty or a porter cable or a ultimate detailing machine to get fantastic results, i.e a swirl free finish.

a swirl free finish can be achieved by hand but its going to be very hard work etc, obviously hand polishing is hard work to get a good finish but so is machine polishing as it is mentally tireing.

I recently bought new machine from Einhell, specially made for polishing.
To be honest...I am afraid to use it on new metallic lack, always thinking of burning the clear coat
How to use that machine? Which RPM setting is the best?

not knowing the machine or the products that you have it is hard to tell, most of the time i use my p/c bettween 1000orpm and 2000orpm but it does depend on what product you are aplying etc.

Today I tried waxing small piece on bonnet, I noticed that dust accumulates a lot more on that waxed part. Is this normal or what?

dust doesnt accumulate its self on my motor easily but if yo take into advice what me and a few others have said you will get a smooth glossy wet finish to the paint.

is it getting dusty after you have wax'd the car? or while it is curing before you buff it off?

after waxing.
I waxed day before in cool shady place, and day after went to job. When I walked to the car I noticed this dusty spot.

well I waxed one bird drop on my rear bonnet, 2 months ago, and it's still getting dusty, even I wash the car every week.
