Yes.. I have a couple of him taking the wrong line through Sunny Out!

These shots are taken from the banking above Sunny Out.
This is the apex of the last fast corner before the sprint down to the Complex
Getting it right here means a faster lap and can give you the momentum you need to overtake or pull away on the straight.

It's tricky but satisfying when you get it right. The 'apex' or clipping point is key to a good lap.. you want to be using that last inch of tarmac (but not the kerb) and sqeezing open the throttle so that you are giving it the beans as you exit the corner.

The first shot of the grey M3 shows that the driver is not using all the road.. the second shot shows him again wide of the mark on the next lap.

Have a look at pictures 3 and 4.. the old E21 again being consistent and thus enabling the Green Slug to put in some good quick laps despite its modest 90bhp.

Picture 5 shows a red M3 hitting the perfect spot.

Next time you come to Croft, let one of us show you the lines. Once you have mastered them which wont take more than a few laps you will be amazed at how much quicker it feels and it is kinder to the car as well.

Happy days.. better than working!
Nick

Thats no bad thing.. novices respond to tuition far better than the ones that think they know best.

Tell Dad, we are back there in a few weeks on October 10th.. but it is only for 30 cars this time not the usual 60.. so book now if he wants it.

Regards,
Nick
