Ok, I'm a plonker I know but I can't be such a hunk a burning love as well as mechanically minded which is why I need your help.
I've finally got my front crystal indicators but obviously need to remove the front bumper. I've done a search in the technical section and found a couple of posts about bumper removal. Most are saying I will need to remove the front apron first in order to undo the 2 hex bolts underneath the bumper? Is this the case or am I confuzzled??
I notice yesterday when having a look, there are also brackets coming off the bumpers with 2 x nuts on the inner wheel arch trim, do these have to be removed as well?

Sorry lads, I'm gonna need another idiot monkey guide on this one, starting from the beginning as I'm such a numpty.

Although I have managed in the last 2 weeks (on my own) to fit new headlamp wipers/motors, new bonnet badge, side repeaters and number plate surrounds.

:D

Cheers All

I had a look at mine at the weekend as they're in need of a touch of colour, found the same as you, but didn't have ago at the time, watching this with interest now.....

Is there a easy way to get both front and rears off? :D

The two bolt on the inside of your wings are there for the runners and do not need to be removed, there are only two hex bolts holding your bumper on, they are located under the front bumperactually going through it. Hope this helps.

Regards Mark.

as swindy says. look from under the bumper and you will see two holes, with hex bolts. just undo them and pull the bumper outwards.

the bolts are sometimes rusted solid so make sure you have a good quality hex socket

Torx on later cars. Can still rust solid though.
Really needs two people to replace bumper and keep paintwork intact.

Nice one...thank you. Decieded to leave it til Saturday until me mate is about just incase I mistake the 2 bumper hex bolts with the bolts on the engine mounts or something and end up with the sump embedded in my skull.

Torx is T55, hex is 10mm. Use plenty of copper grease on the bolts when you refit them.
