In the past month or so ive been having trouble with my indicators, ive put two new fuses in both lasting a week or so. now when i put one in it blows right away??? since this ive lost rev counter, cig lighter and interior lights can you help! Id rather try it myself than go to bmw[/quote]

This seems to be a common problem at the minute with several members including myself experiencing the problem with the rev counter, cig lighter and interior lights. The cig lighter fuse is number 28 sio check it. As for the rev counter and interior lights etc, its fuse 21 and must keep blowing due to a problem with the radio or the clock and the dash if you have one fitted. THats what I think the problem is although wont know for sure till I get it checked by an expert. There must be a short somewhere with wires touching metal etc.

This is usually a sign that the positive is earthing somewhere, depending on accesibility it would wise to have a quick look at the condition of the wiring/insulation.
