Been toying with the idea of doing something a bit different to the traditional smoked lights. Euro style yellow is appealing but I'm not 100% convinced...

Opinions? Favourites?

They look pretty cool... smoked is just the obvious choice on your car though - seems silly not to.

think I'll get some yellow stuff and see what they look like for real. If they look gash I'll just wipe it off with some thinners and smoke them.

I like smoked lights, just think they're a bit predictable on my car and a bit common.

No, as far as I know I'm the product of a londoner (my mum) and some sort of italian waitor (the alleged affair)... though my dad (a londoner) would probably disagree.

In a word.......NO

I would leave the lights standard, polish them up a bit so they shine nice aswell. it gives a nice little bit of contrast to the general moodiness of your wee beasty.

The twin lights look good when they stand out. thats why they are there. and seperated into two lamps.

And anyway, smoked headlights look naff. Might as well have a black board on the front of ya car instead of a grill and lights.

Just my opinion though. Even though it is right winkeye

You've never seen me drive! :flipbird:

I'll have you know (on the roads) I am a very sensible driver... hence not practicing drifting on roundabouts and every corner I find... and thus being entirely shit at it.

I'm thinking maybe smoke the dips and do the fulls in yellow...

I like the way the smoked dips look, but the crosshair thingy doesnt do a very good job of the full beams imo..

Do you need full beams for mot/road legality? I could hycote them

thinking back to family holidays in france in the '80s i think twin headlighted cars had the dipped (outer) headlights yellow and the others left white. I could be wrong but I think this will give a sophisticated euro look. My mum's Renault 5 came with yellow fog lights from the factory...

Not keen on the half and half look... if I do it they'll both be yellow... but I have more important things to do to it atm, like make the engine stop breaking/replace it... so styling is low on the list atm.

Kinda like the way they put red mirrors on the Mercedes DTM cars.

You wondered why the feck they did that, but also thought it looked cool in an odd sort of way.....a bit like your car really! :P

They could have put pink mirrors on that and it would still look cool.

They do it so the team cars can be told apart. One would have yellow and one red, for instance.

And bruce... nice idea.... I'll erm... yeah I'll think about that one and probably never do it.
