Does anyone know of the 'Motorsport' or 'Limited edition' E21 323i made by BMW GB, that came with a dogleg gearbox, LSD, & only ever came in a killer two tone paintjob that was Ascot Grey over gunmetal grey or something like that...
Those cars looked stunning, not many made, maybe under 200..
Wondering if anyones owned one, or knows of them, would love to see a picture of one to remind me of what the fuss was about...

175 323i's were made, Ascot over (darker) graphite, anthracite cloth, Recaro seats, 3 spoke sports steering wheel, sports suspension, BBS wheels and front spoiler, black rubber boot spoiler and Ascot grey mirrors. No dog leg gearbox or LSD.
There was a ltd edition 320 as well. They were all Opal green metallic (light silvery green) with E28 seats and velour trim in Pine green (!) three spoke sports steering wheel, rear headrests, 5 1/2 x13 inch 20 spoke (Alpina style) alloys and body colour mirrors.

So what are one of these babies worth then, providing you find one?...Andyboy wrote:175 323i's were made, Ascot over (darker) graphite, anthracite cloth, Recaro seats, 3 spoke sports steering wheel, sports suspension, BBS wheels and front spoiler, black rubber boot spoiler and Ascot grey mirrors. I know that one about 'A car being worth what one is willing to pay', but every car has a value attached to it...
Just want to know if they are worth any more than an normal eqiuvelent 323i, in the same nick, & even an eqiuvelent Alpina version...

The two tone ones aren't worth much (if any) more than a standard one. £1500 should be plenty for a really clean 323i, if you can find one. 320's aren't worth a ****.
The 323i desperately needs an LSD and decent suspension.

So what 323i would have come with an LSD & the dogleg... or were these items just expensive extras specified when new?

We dont seem to see many around where i live, let alone really nice, clean ones, but no doubt if 1500 quid bags a good two-tone one, i would buy it in a second...maxfield wrote: There seem to be a few over here still going:D
