how good would a 525e conversion be.

525e bottom end
the head and inlet manifold off my car.
with about 50 thou off the head any thoughts?

Head and manifold of what car/engine?

I wouldn't take anything off the head unless it was needed, don't do it for fun the compression should be high enough as it is.

I used a 320 head with 325i valves, but you really need to get some head work done to release all the power from it.

A 325i head can be used but i'd still be alittle concerned about pinking although it has been done before.

They don't pink with a 325i head. No reason that they should.
