Was wondering if it would be compatible with an e30.
Was told that any turbo will fit practically any car as long as it can be adapted.

TBH... I know peugeot/citroen are the same company, but Citroen is better, I have a Xantia V6 and my god it's fast (194bhp), it would see off a BMW 528 no problem
I'd prefer a BMW though, the lack of rear wheel drive in the xantia is really off putting, and if it's gonna be a 6 cyl, i'd prefer to have it inline. There is something fragile about the V6 in the Xantia.
