Hi,
Sounds good. What oil do you recommend for my S50B30, 3.0ltr M3?
Would be looking to buy 20ltrs if It's not too frightening
at 7 ltrs per oil change, 20+4 litres would be ideal for three oil changes plus top ups.
Dameon.

Hi,
BMW approved 5w-40 is ideal, the best and most popular from us is the ester based Silkolene Pro S as it helps to look after and keep quiet the vanos unit.
Cheers

Hello,
I need some oil for my engine please,is it the same as for above ?
Mines a S50B32, 3.2ltr M3.
Also,i believe the previous owner of my engine ran it on castrol for some years. Will it matter if i use the sikolene instead ?
cheers,

It will be ideal, the Silkolene is a great oil. Better quality then the Castrol.

Hi, i had some Pro S 5w40(your previous recomendation) from you and i need some more but i want to try a thicker grade due to a higher rate of oil consumption and it made the engine sound a tad more noisey than the dino oil that was in there before ?
The engine's a modified 3.5 M30 that isn't my daily driver any more, more a toy thats used 2/3 times a week for a good thrash.
Which grade do you thing i need ?
Whats the difference between the Pro S and the Pro R ?
How much for 5ltrs including delivery ?

The Pro S 10w-50 would be ideal, this should reduce consumption for you.
