Croft Trackday in October anyone?

No dates yet because I can't commit.. I need to sound everyone out first. It would probably be a Monday again, we have found that to be the best of the working days for people to get off.

I have got the date..
Wednesday 10th October 2007

Due to sound restrictions I can only put 15 cars on the circuit at any one time.. but thats good, think of all the open track in front of you.

So I would run two groups in sessions of 20 minutes just like we used to do.

All I need is 30 drivers.. but the cost would be a tenner or so more at Ã‚£150.

We need to act quickly.. I will not book the circuit until I am sure we can make the money.

Please let me know if you can attend and pay in full asap. Your money would be secure with the BMW Car Club.

We can take all debit/credit cards, cheques and good ol' cash.

What I can't take is Howards raffle winner as that is budgeted into 2008.. unless I get oversubcribed and get some extra income.. then it would be a pleasure.. fingers crossed

See if you can get anyone else to come.. you already know the standard I expect.

If there were more like you two my life would be a whole lot easier!

Hold on to your money for now.. lets get a few more in the bag first.. tell your friends to bring another friend with a friend who likes trackdays.

If I am positive that we can go I shall be asking for money then.

Normally I get the club to pay up front and then I pay them back as the entries come in.. but they are all out getting entries for the national in Donington so I am not even going to mention it for fear of being shouted at!

I'm affraid i'm going to give this one a miss guys. Decided to pump the 200 spent on the day into the car insted, for improvements. Brakes mainly. See you at the next one!

Didn`t you understand the "you get one free ,you buy one policy" howard ?

Ive got the TT disc/750 caliper jobbies on mine .
Seeing as your in west yorks you could come and try them out..
discs and calipers are cheap .and I could remove a bracket and have it copied by an engineering firm.

you could have a cheap brake upgrade AND a track day .

also,anyone going to donny on the 17th of september ?

Nick,I've just filled out my form (so has my mate) .
I have a question though.On the form it has the option to add a passenger for Ã‚£20.At the moment im unsure if i'll have a passenger or not so my question is , if i do on the day can the extra passenger/s pay the Ã‚£20 on the day ?

Andy, that will be fine.. just get your forms back so I can secure a place for you and the car. We can do the extras on the day.. I always bring the petty cash tin.. no problems.

I didn`t write the whole family down again ,just the ones going on the track

Some very good news..

I have just got the green light from Croft Circuit that we can run our normal day without any restrictions.
They have looked at the noise records for our last few events there and confirmed that we are indeed one of the quiet ones and have no worries with us tipping the noise scale.

So.. forget what I said before about just allowing a few cars out at once in groups.

The Oktobercroft will be OPEN PIT LANE all day... hoorah!

If you 'aint booked in yet.. better hurry up and call me.
