Well... the first 'part' I have to buy for my upcoming engine swap is a mk5 escort for the missus.
I'm gutted I couldnt make it. How did it go at the castle? did you get to take the pics on the grass as planned?

Great turnout guys! Good to meet some true heroes; damo and e30mark & dodgem but too name a few! As well as the usual heroes jon & jon etc. I think iainH & gordon deserve some huge congratulations as well as the rest of the guys that turned up
What to say...
Well, firstly a huge thanks to everyone involved in making today what it was...
Iain (HartgeH27), without who's help the main car of the day wouldn't have been there. He was also responsible for Malc's family joining us today.
Sheila (Malcolm's widow) and the family - I would rather not start listing them in case I accidently miss one out...
Such bravery turning up to face us lot today after the events of the last few weeks. Well done, and nice to meet you all. Hope to see you all at a meet again one day.
Dave (Gaszman), without whom we wouldn't have had the wonderful background of the castle for the shots, or got Suchy up to the top tower for his pictures. Also the man responsible for organising the cruise to the Castle.
Chris (Suchy) for being the official photographer for the day, and going to greater heights to achieve it. Well done lining that lot up mate.
Jam172 (Jamie), without whos dealing of the dreaded Dawn we wouldn't have got the castle for the price we did, or had a lovely E3 at the meet. Malc would have loved it.
Mark (E30Mark), for sorting the flowers for the funeral.
And last but by NO means least, all of you guys turning up with your cars, what a bloody amazing turnout. Malc would have been so proud to have this much support and commitment in his name. A particular thanks to those who travelled longer distances to join us. (Not forgetting poor old Munky, who did his best to be with us, and would probably have won the prize for longest distance travelled...)
Thank you all.
I'll let Suchy get his pics up first, and put some of mine up later if he doesn't embarass me too much...

how do i get the image on here rather than just a link? HELP PLEASE!!!!
think i might have made it rather on the large size?
Thank you all for making me and my E3 welcome today, it was a great day; even the Sussex boys and girls (E30 Steve and 7 others) didn't get cross with me for my "short cut" to avoid Arundel and Worthing, that put us in a traffic Q for 20 minites in Storrington
Really good to see the level of support you all gave, you should be proud.
Oh yes, what do you mean Iain, "dodgy"
I didn't get the nick name "Jammy Dodger" for nothing mate

Suchy, you hero. I'm there anytime you need to lean/stand on me again to get a decent frame
You need to host up the pics on a photobucket account, try www.photobucket.com and host them there. Then prefix them by using
EDIT - Too late!
Awesome camera you have there too.

Great day, really glad i made it after getting to sleep about 6am this morning! (25th wedding anniversary i'd forgotten i was attending!)
Sorry to those at Rownhams who probably stood around wondering where i was (Gortour and others)
It was a great memorial for Malc, and Sheila obviously really appreciated the sentiments - everyone did her and Malc proud imo.
Also good to see some of the faces behind the names here on the forum
edit: i obviously missed the next page!!
