Just picked up my latest acquisition yesterday - a 1991 E30 318is.

I got it for a pretty good price considering it's got FSH, MOT Til December and a spare set of 17" alloys (which I'll sell because I like the original rims - or get other 15s). It sounds like god clearing his breath when you boot it due to a rather 'rustic' backbox, but I've picked up another so I'll stick that on tomorrow.

Now I just need to decide whether to take it on my European tour starting next week, or take my 'sensible' car - a 2000 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 Auto Estate...?

What do you people reckon?

Ah I know where you mean. I'll have to give you a shout when I'm about next time and compare E30s - I'm generally a Peugeot nut.

You might have seen me driving around in this...

Hah that's just my mates 306TD with rallye steels on it. Rallye's are a bit slow compared to my 205 anyway...
