Sorry Jhonno wasn't aiming my alpinas comment to you, look like BBS? lol. Just in the general e30zone user.
Some of our posts seem confrontational, sorry about that lol we just want to get people to ENJOY driving there cars.
Karan - surface looks really good, only a couple of areas have that blocked concrete, most of it is sexy smooth tarmac. I have been to a lot of drift days, and this one is making me very excited indeed, there is shit loads of space, we should have 3 drift tracks ranging from balls out full speed entries using a service road onto runway then back off another service road and back onto the runway etc, should be 3rd gear easily (not attended, but I helped design the courses), and other drift tracks for more simple "conventional" 2nd, maybe 3rd gear looped circuits out of the way for constant tyre abuse. Then another technical track which I beleive will throw up some layouts people havn't encountered in the UK before, double apex squared bends, tight left/rights, and many speed changes. Then we also have room for a beginners figure of 8 and a big donut/roundabout style area for people needing to get used to their cars or gain confidence on track before heading out onto the good stuff
That is also not including the time attack course, which involves some tight turns and hairpins into long winding narrowish service roads in a loop, this will be good fun for all including drifters wanting to test themselves a bit more in a grippy way for a change.
And obviously the drag strip for all involved! Get down some practice runs then see what time you can get, should be interesting as we have cars coming from a lot of different places in all different shapes/sizes/capacities.
Best bit about it? It is dirt cheap, 2 FULL DAYS, free camping, DJ, burger vans, beer, it just all makes sense!
