So far no problem pulling the convoy forward an hour Munky. As long as the guys at Rownhams don't mind an hour early, I'm more than happy.
Munky, postcode wise, can you put BH21 1RN into your machine and see what it says.
This should be the Willet Arms pub on Oakley Hill, Wimborne.
Should get you near enough. Let me know what the last few directions are, and I'll amend them as necessary.
My number 07974 914 962 if you get stuck.

I'll be there and on time unlike the last time! I've lost my mobile phone so does anyone have a postcode for me to get to the burgerbar big please. I've been there once but can't really remember it. I''ll be coming down off the A3 or M3 which ever is easier!

simon13, postcode for the Churchillian Pub - directly opposite the meet point is PO6 3LS.
Look for the burger van on the left coming up from the A3. Pub will be on the right.
There is - from memory - another pub on the right at the bottom of a dip, layby at the top of the hill just past it.

Check the tyres for rotation. (an arrow on the side wall...) Also try and put the better pair on the front, hopefully less chance of the wheels being out of balance.
Check tyre pressures is a must.
Look nice wheels, well done.

205 55 15, same as mine, and most late E30s I think...
@ Jon_Bmw, Dodgem, are you OK getting to Rownhams for 12.15 rather than 1.15 to get to the meet early?
All other convoyers are - I think - happy to get there earlier, so if you can make it...

Yup - that's fine by me. Since it looks like BoxClever won't make it now i can get there whatever time is needed.
I'll take your number Gortour incase of any problems
Shouldn't be too hard to spot the convoy then
but i know what you mean about harrassing other E30 drivers - i'm sure some of the mums on the school run in a touring or the old boys in their 4 doors think i'm odd waving at them!

Hope both of you can make it ! Will be good, we have local press coming and photographers, a great show from the Zone but as long as it is understood that it is an E30 meet and not an other car meet.
OK Chris / Jim / James ?

Jon_Bmw, if you want to leave your Audi at Rownhams, you're welcome to jump in the touring for the afternoon.
Anyone else not bringing an E30? Jam172?

surely it will be ok for a few people to turn up in other cars? they can park away from the e30's when it comes to the photoshoot... but... is it me or is it a bit harsh to say to someone that they cant come because they dont have an e30? Admittedly it would be a bit of a pain if 20 of the local krooozers turned up but I can hardly see that happening...
And... modified e30's are ok right?
sorry if I'm reading it all wrong... just seems a bit harsh.

Noone's saying they CAN'T come Munky, maybe leave non-E30s at the burger van rather than take them to the castle...? There'll be enough cars for people to get a lift...

I'd guess modified E30s like yours would be OK Munky.
Malc would have had a good laugh at that I reckon - in an appreciative sort of way, of course...

Thats the most diplomatic response to my car I have seen so far. 10/10 for noncommittal-ness.

Not worried about diplomacy.
I'm happy to say I like your car. Looks great that low, and matt black too, and l love your stripes too.
Wouldn't even consider doing it to mine, but I only slag it off in jest mate, as you know well.

Gordon - I'll meet ya at either Rownhams or at Canford bottom - I'll let you know nearer the time... I may not be in my E30 though - depends on whether a driveshaft drops through the letterbox or not
May hop in with Mark, or may be in the Caddy. Then you could see how slow a really slow car is, unlike your measly m40.

12.15 is fine with me. To be fair I don't particularly want to leave my car at the burger van as I haven't a clue what the area is like etc etc. I know portchester castle quite well and I can dump my turd down the street that leads onto it. It was never my intention to have it in the photo!
