Saw this on ebay and wondered if it would do the same job as the z3 conversion from the zone ...
Slightly less money too, anyone had past experience with any aftermarket shifters from ebay?
May just go with the Z3 one as still looks "original" ...
Short shifter, E30 zone diy or ebay one ... ??

The Z3 one is the same price, but you'll need to buy bushes too.
For an extra tenner I'd go for the tried, tested and rated Z3 over some ebay tripe, you know what crap comes up on there!!

DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THE GLOSSY AD's ON EBAY - Stick with Zone advice and perhaps spend a small amount more.
The aggro this will save is priceless enough.
The item shown all gilt and flash is marketed by several 'power sellers' etc, and does not fit without complication, or will foul the balancer around the end of the prop - which lies immediately beneath the gear linkage.
