yeah don't eat breakfast if you wanna fit a Monster Burger inside you- they are MAHOOOSIVE!!!! :D

agree, this is gonna be a great meet with people who have never met Malc (me included) travelling to pay their respects to an old skooler (Iain's words!!!) makes one proud to be a part of it :D

Well let's hope that Dawn doesn't see my last post. I had to speak to her about a work related matter, and then asked her what the problem was with the E30 Zone Castle request. She seemed a little surprised that i knew anything about it 8O . Basically after much pleading she has agreed that for a £50 donation, to cover herself on Photographic rights  she will try to get us in the "back area", after taking out some fencing :? . apparently she has been talking previously to David Thomas.

She will need to get this confirmed today and will let me know tommorrow. Does this sound reasonable, winkeye

Hope i've done the right thing :o:

I'll put a tenner in as I missed donating on the memorial thread for the flowers. Only £40 to find then. Does this money need to be paid upfront or on the day Jam?

Me + Danny bought the Loner between us for £100, she's a 1986 Breg 2ltr auto that sat for over 2 years in a lockup neglected

Viscous fan is in need of replacement, engine oil is like treacle - haven't changed it yet :o: and the autobox spits fluid out under pressure.

She was bought as a temp run around whilst we rebuild Danny's cab which is in need of another rebuild

I can guarantee she won't make the south coast, she only just made it to + from Billing aquadrome  Gutted i can't be there but maybe there can be a yearly thing done in memory??

Sorry for the let down guys + girls, Neil.

As i say not yet confirmed but getting there, we will pay on the day but leave it at the £2 each and make the balance in the donation. I assume we will all meet at the Burger Van at 2pm as arranged, perhaps Gortour will do a collection from all of us and as i am the outsider (no E30 :o: ) will hand over the cash to get in?

Does that work?

I will confirm if this is a goer tommorrow, fingers crossed.

I have no e30 either :) Don't let anyone tell you its a bad thing! winkeye

Your plan sounds good as long as 25 people do turn up, if not me and munky can put our donations into securing that. My car is currently on axle stands, but hopefully it'll be done by sunday, if not its clio diesel time 8O

Bloody well done guys. Brilliant effort.
Jam172 and gaszman, between you, you've worked wonders. Top marks guys.

I'm up for putting in too, I think the £50 will be found quite easily.

If people would like, I'll do the collecting, though having said that, I still have - I think - £40 for the collection that arrived after I handed it all into Mark.

So if Munky and Jon wish to contribute to the collection, the money's found already...
Iain? That OK?

sounds grand to me.

Though as its only going to work out to a couple of quid each to get the 50, and people that donated to the flowers may not be there... how about spending that 40 on a big bunch of flowers to present to sheila (?) during the course of the day?

I believe the national trust offer some sort of bench sponsorship program, I remember when my grandad died he had a bench in his memory put into a national trust flower garden that he used to frequent. No idea of the process but it sounds like a good idea.

3rded. Brilliant idea Munky. We'll have Lisa in the convoy on Sunday, she can select the best bunch. Anyone know a good place to get them en route from the west? Maybe Hedge End, Marks & Spencer?

Go to your Profile. Halfway down is a large box entitled 'Signature'.
In there, you can put text as here, or pictures.
Pictures MUST already be hosted somewhere, Photobucket or wherever.
The host site will give you 3 'addresses' for the picture. You will need the one that starts [ img] and finishes [ /img] (without the spaces...)
Hope this helps.

Not my idea mate. The £50 collection for using the castle is down to Jam172 and Gaszman, flowers down to Munky.

I'm happy to do the collecting and get the £50 raised. Can collect the flowers if someone tells me where from...

So if i'm following this right, £10 to gordon for the flowers for sheila. (would you like paypal or cash on the day gordon?) and a couple of quid to Jam and gazman on the day. Whatevers easiest for you guys, either is straight forward for me.

No the flower money is already covered with leftovers from the original collection.

All people need to do is chuck a few quid at gordon (aim for the eyes) to get the £50 so we can use the castle.

Munky, Jon's donating to the original fund, as you've offered to do on the day.

Just as easy cash on the day please mate. I'll put it into the Castle £50. Any left, again, gets given to Sheila.
If it's cash, I don't have to f*** about writing cheques etc...
