which easier to fit 525i sport or 535i sport ?

i can have either engine and loom but which would be easier to fit or are they both same amount of work curently got 320i also the 535i is auto would it fit to my box or would i need the right manual box for engine cheers

Hi, and welcome!

325 engine would be easier but the 535 conversion isn't a difficult one if you're handy with a spanner but you would need a manual gearbox from an M30 engine.

There is lllooooaaads of info on the conversion, if you do a search for '335' or 'M30' you should find some good reading material.

they have diffeent issues.. both about the same difficulty oveall imo

thanks gonna see about doing the 3.5 conversion lol if its the same amount of work would rather the bigger more powerful engine
