tv/dvd problem

hi waz wadering if ne 1 could help me i want to fit a in dash dvd player but the din slot is wrong side i would be extremly grateful if ne 1 could help me out i previously saw a conversion by alpina that puts the clock on the stering wheel side n the din slot on the left if ne 1 knows of how i can get hold of 1 it would b great thank u very muchly sting

I bought a heater panel from a LHD drive car and just swapped them over. You will need to do a bit of cutting to the panel and the dash to get it in. It still needs some more work to make it fit proparly though.
If alpina do do a proper one for a RHD car that'd be great.

wicked thanx for the reply ive tried a few local breakers but had no luck with the lhd pannel, how did u get hold of urs also how difficult was it 2 fit

Just put a wanted add up on the forum.
Bit of a bitch to fit, had to cut some off the LH side and the cut some off the dash along the top, still not fitting great.
Considering getting a couple and trying to make one.

The panel from a LHD motor works and as mentioned,requirea a bit of work to make it look rite when fitted.
If no one on the zone can sell you one then you can always put up a wanted post on some of the US forums
I got offered one a while back for $40 inc delivery but ended up with one from a fellow zoner
Another option would be to get a mate who is going across the mainland europe to have a look in a few scrappy's there
