if replacing the batteries in your SI board won't help, i understand there's a by[ass and direct line to your alternator for your rev counter. it's the one that has a flat socket.

SI batteries. Use the search function to see how to change them, or raid a scrappy for a SI board with lithium 3 volt batteries.

Cheers guys for your responses, I just wanted to give a bit more detail: basically when i said the MPG and temp stopped working the funny thing is they actually move when i turn the ignition which shows me that there not completely dead (the MPG moves to about 10 and stays there and the temp moves up to just touching blue n stays there) As most of u suggested batteries im thinking that this wudn't happen if batteries needed replacing and the needles wud simply stay dead??? Mayb i shud change the whole cluster like jcjdavis says???

Change the whole cluster if you like, but a SI board (or two) fits in the bottom of your tool box in the scrappys in a way that a complete cluster won't!
