Hi poeple i was wondering what would be your next mod to your car?
I'm thinking about getting some new rims not sure what at the moment and also sorting out a better ICE.Tony:mad:

I'm gradually trying to restore mine back to factory standard and replacing a few of the crappy items that came on the standard non-SE cars. So far I've replaced the hideous 4 spoke steering wheel with the SE one, put a set of 15" BBS's on in place of the 14" bottletops (drives like a completely different car thanks to some decent rubber), added colour coded (Dolphin Grey) wing mirrors and also new bumper inserts all round (£140
). Next up is hopefully a pair of SE sideskirts and converting the sunroof to electric (really worthwhile with all the summer heat
)

Just got some pipe and slipper wheels, (bbs15s), next on the list is interior. (I need my rear speakers re-wiring but i'll do that when i replace the interior)

hopefully lowering 30mm on saturday, spray wing mirrors asap, buy some 325 discs and pads and fit them with 325 calipers, fit heckspoiler, learn how t0 and fit twin webers
In that order and hopefuly pretty damn soon too, oh and at some point (when I have spare cash) get a set of 15" BBS
then reapray matt black

im in the process of re-doing all my suspension after my little incident.
full powerflex bushes, bilstein shocks, spax springs, rear disc conversion, all new suspension converting to 51mm struts instead of 45mm i think on the 316, fittign anti roll bars as the 316 doesnt have one on the back
and then ill be doing the engien to a 2.5 after crimbo hopefully depending on the insurance.

- Ally flywheel.
- BBTB / Throttle Bodies if I'm feeling mad or an oppurtunity arises.
- ARP rod bolts.
- Full OBC.
- Bigger Brakes.
- E36 M3 rack.

Good luck. I dont have time on my side so i think a trip to a garage is my only option.fuzzy wrote:i wont be at F+M as once youve seen one neon lit, bodykitted to the max jap car youve seen them allSanchez wrote:So your not coming to Fast and Scrappyfied?fuzzy wrote:PAS rack and complete rear axle overhaul, new prop bearing, new fuel tank and filler pipes. im taking it off the road for a couple of months from next week to do everything at once
Are you doing the work? Im in need of sorting my PAS leak.im planning on doing it all myself hence the need for a couple of months of the road as ill need to fit it in around work. ive let things slip for a while knowing they needed attention so the time has come to get my finger out as the mot is about due. my PAS rack is leaking from rips in the boots and im told that its knackered and needs replacing.im not sure what pleasures lie awaiting me with that one as i dont know if the garage modified anything when fitting the engine or even if they allowed enough room to change the rack easily
Maybe see you at callender then.
6 button OBC to fit already ran the temp sender, will start to pull the dash out shortly to plumb the loom in,and fit the indicator stalk.
Car is pretty much as i want it then after fiiting BBS 15",rear blind, rear heads.front fogs,Maplight mirror,M Tec2 wheel.front top tint screen and some minor cosmetic paint and a general tidy up under the bonnet.
When I have the dosh a set of BBS LM's would be the cherry on the cake.

Ideally it would be some decent suspension and a welded diff but by the looks of things it will be either a new head or a new engine.
