No gearbox in it yet mate! 8O

Its only a 316i at the mo! so upgrading the brakes and suspension (handling before performance) for now spesh seein as my insurance will be hooooge! Want an M30 conversion and then maybe a turbo but Im more of an N/A fan! I'd love an m-tech kit not sure about 1 or 2 yet! It may look clean in the rain but the bodywork is abit abused scratched and dinged all over and roof has been jumped on but no rust anywhere which is why I got it! Front panels dont quite line-up properly so assuming a front ender but chassis isnt twisted just bumped! Wiring problems, interiors shocking so undecided about striping or new interior! Need a poll on that 1! Loads of work to do!

Glad you all like it though!

I stripped ALL of my soundproofing, inside and outside of bulkhead, all the glued on stuff under the carpet and inside doors and rear quarters.

Even with an M30 and a single silencer exhaust it's ok for me and had I easily chatted to my mate at 130ish on the way back from LeMans the other week. I've had much noisier Minis and Mk2 Escorts!

With an extra silencer it might even be quite refined!

I did leave the (very heavy! :( ) carpet in though as it's my only car.
I've driven a few cars with no carpet and it sounds like you're in a tin can with Motorhead! 8O
