Too right! And miserable f*ckers too!Andyboy wrote:They were a pack of Gypos weren't they!
The one that came to bring us tools to break into the car... I said, jokingly 'well now you know how to steal an e30 if you ever need to'.
His reply - 'why do you think I'm watching?!'
F*cking pikeys.
Dont think they liked me covering them with mud as I span it out of the car park.

They certainly looked the sort to howl at the moon. When I went back for water, they offered to get all sorts of bottles and waterbuts for you.munky30 wrote:Too right! And miserable f*ckers too!Andyboy wrote:They were a pack of Gypos weren't they!

hey! Sorry to hear the karting was a near right off.. We got back from lands end just as you guys were getting on the track so they wouldn't let us on.. Though considering how wet i got stood in the car park for 2 minutes i'm kinda glad we missed it! So a big thanks to nathan for organising things.. Was great to meet the 3 biggest forum whores in person
managed to take a few pics so will see if there's anything worth posting when i can get near a pc

So, who's up for a game? Spot the Keys... a bit like Spot the Ball, without a ball...

Only thing is, Chris is going to have to phone the track again, and ask the pikeys where they found them...

I gave the woman behind the desk my number for when/if they turn up so I'll see if I can find out where on track they were
My guess is in the big puddles on the inside of the hairpin before you go under the bridge, I was going over the kerbs there and its far from smooth.
tezk... I have to confess something... at about 2.30am on saturday morning I tripped over one of your guide ropes. About 30 seconds later there was crying

I do feel guilty, and poor Cotty on sat night. Sorry i'm a drunken fool. I enjoyed the weekend even though the weather was crap. The go-kart's were great fun at the time although i did feel crap when stood about soaked. My first kart only had 1 engine but my 2nd was spot on, Just held back by my lack of driving skill
It was good to meet you all and i'm glad i came. A big thums up to Nathan and Chris for there effort's. Feel knackard after the late night's but never mind, you only live once. Good to here you all got home ok.

Legend I say

hey, don't worry about the baby waking. I don't think anyone settled very well with all the roudiness of the kids all drinking neat vodka and trying to kill themselves tripping over the guide ropes. Well, apart from me, but i always sleep well when i'm beered up

Think Terry is in Perranporth still. Lovely place
Perranporth. Managed to flatten the battery in my N95 browsing whilst Ethan is sleeping. Came a wonder into Perranporth this morning and found an internet cafe so going to get a look at the pictures that have been posted so far.
We plan on making our way up north on Friday. Guess when they are giving the best weather of the week? Oh well..
But saying that, the sun is streaming down outside so we're about to head out again soon and work on our sunburns.

Perranporth beach is the finest beach anywhere. When the tide goes out, it stretches for miles. Plenty of rocks to explore and a pool cut out of the rocks too. Stunning.

Not sure if I'll plan anything for this summer. My folks fly home for USA in September for a week, so will be Falmouth way then.
Would be nice to get back down there in August, but I am doubtful, it's going to take a while for me to sort my finances back out!!!
Shame, it would be a good jaunt, especially if we had the weather!

I may plan something in the Dorset area next year if there's any interest.
Looking at a camp site in St Leonards - which is between Ringwood and Ferndown on the A31. There's a bar and entertainment laid on in season I believe. Will investigate further soon...
There's go-karting at Hurn Airport, a dry ski slope, the New Forest for cruises, a trip to Beaulieu Motor Museum, shopping in Castle Point or Bournemouth for the ladies, Matchams market on the Sunday morning, the beach at Bournemouth if the weather's better than at Newquay this weekend, there's the Wildlife park just outside Lyndhurst, loads and loads to do around here.
Will go and check out the campsite at some point and start a thread later.

Don't forget a tank museam, a zoo, the new forest, more pubs clubs and bars per square mile than any where in europe, matchams race way, and everything else.
