Hi guys, just wondering if anyone could tell me how to identify an original M Tech 2 rear spoiler? Does the M-Technic badge in the bottom right corner mean its original?? If anyone knows would appreciate a reply.

Cheers.

Yep, should have an M-Technic sticker on. I have a copy tech II spoiler in the garage and it doesn't have the sticker on.

Oh, and welcome to the Zone/nut house :D

its also vary rare for a copy spoiler to have bolts on it to attatch it to the boot lid, most of them stick on.

Cheers guys for your responses n cheers greeny 4 da welcome, lol.
Neway had another look it at and its got the BMW logo with a part number on the underside with sum german writing (heckspoiler or sumting) on the underside of the spoiler aswell as the M Techinc sticker and its not a stick on 1 as it has the short bolts from where it can be attached to the boot, also its a 2 piece spoiler where the top simply screws by un-doing a nut, so with this information can anyone confirm that it is an original spoiler and not a copy??

Cheers.

yep certainly sounds original, like kos says the copys feel very light and hollow and would shatter if you sneezed on it. 8O
