Cheers guys for the very warm welcome and the great comments. Yes the M3 had came well speced when new, I've also fitted heated seats and cruise control, well post some interior pics and spec list soon. It's great to see there is so many people spending lots of time and money keeping the E30 alive.

It was in the wet and he had nangkangs on the back! All i am saying is enjoy your cars, cars were made to be driven, not kept in a garage all their lives!

Hi dimebag. On the subject of tyres those Nankangs are a pile of crap. Cheap and nasty and to be avoided. Why why why do people buy decent cars and fit shitty tyres?? makes no sense at all

The 325i has more low down grunt, you have to keep the M3 revving but when you do it really goes well and does handle better due to being lighter at the front end and just set up better generally
