Ben has been promising me my £20 back that I paid him for a bit of cab carpet last August. He didn't bother sending the carpet, so said he would send back the £20 instead. Every couple of months if I chase it I get a PM apologising and saying my money will be on its way first thing in the morning. If people had the bollocks and the honesty just to tell you to f*ck off instead of spending ten months pulling your chain life would be a lot simpler and everybody would know where they stand. I met this guy when I collected some other stuff I bought off him a year or so ago and he seemed a decent enough chap, now I just class him as one of the time wasting arseholes that I have to deal with from time to time. Ho hum .

Thanks all, after so much bullsh*t and broken promises from Ben I've pretty much written it off anyhow, if anybody does get the £20 for me just buy yourself a crate of beer with it, I'd prefer somebody other than that gobshite having a good time on it

Ben has rung me back as he has missed calls ,If anyone is trying to contact him he has NO net at the moment due to the building next door being demolished for new flats and taking out the phone line , Brian you have a pm with his number that he said to pass on as well mate and think it will all come good

sorry to bring this old thread up but ive also been done by him, bought a DVD player, Head unit and a CD changer off him for £150 and the only thing that works is the head unit. i asked for a refund and he said that i have to send it back to him first but i didnt trust him enough to do that (only met the guy once and all that) so we agreed that i will post recorded and insured and he sends me the payment in full, NOTHING. and then we agreed that he gives me half the money and then i will send it and he will give me the other half, again NOTHING. finally i found a company who say that they may be able to fix it and it will cost £25 for them to look at it so i said that i would pay half and he pays half (which i think is far more than reasonable) and he agreed to this and then once again NOTHING.

so hes basically sold me a load of broken stuff and wont give me a penny.
